I'm The writer, photographer and travel lover behind this lifestyle blog.
Here we celebrate the beauty of balance in everyday life! And the journey of making ourselves uncomfortable.
First off thank you so much for being here! While this is a personal blog and I only suggest items I actually use (plus love!), if you click a link I may receive compensation. This simple thing helps me keep my site ad free.

There are those that wait for the big Nordstrom sales. Then there are those that wait for the big skincare sales. And I e a s i l y fall into the second category.
While I can totally appreciate a wonderfully marked down pair of jeans, I simply cannot refuse the savings that Sephora offers with their big sales this time of the year, nor the savings most skincare brands promote. My shopping carts are always stocked up with the items I’ve been coveting the most, just waiting for a seasonal discount code to go along with them. And I figured I would share what I’ve been treasuring the most + what I’ve actually purchased.
Pai Everyday Hero Collection – Pai skincare has been on my radar for quite awhile. When Pai offered to send me their Everyday Hero Collection it seemed a bit fortuitous and I practically bounced up and down with so many of their goodies in my lap. Their well thought out products and commitment to sensitive skin types are exactly what I look for in a skincare company.
I’m blessed to have a lot London followers + friends and I’ve heard them sing the praises of this London based skincare designed for sensitive skincare, so I actually had their Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil sitting patiently in my shopping cart for a couple months now.
Unfortunately, this newly released collection doesn’t qualify for the sale, but you can now get 25% off any of those items still in your shopping cart. The oil is easily worth it.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish – Oh, goodness. I received a sample of this little guy in my last Birchbox and have enjoyed it so much that when I spotted this little collection from Birchbox I swiped it up immediately as
1) my travel size cleanser is included and
2) they offer more good products from Liz Earle
This dainty sized cleanser has become a staple for me quickly in a month as it cleanses the skin of makeup p l u s super stubborn mascara, all the while nourishing the skin.
Sheet masks – These are a travel essential for me anymore. I love collecting and perusing new masks to try out as they are perfectly compact for cross country trips.
Sheet masks aren’t anything I typically need to save for, though I do think they make absolutely perfect gifts as they a fun, reasonable priced item lots can enjoy.
The charcoal masks sent to me from This Is Feel surprised me by how much I enjoy them.
Let’s be honest sheet masks look incredibly ridiculous on and sometimes I feel as though the promises are a bit heavy handed for a single sheet, these black masks have been detoxing my skin w i t h o u t depleting it of moisture.
Caudalie – I have yet to purchase a product that I don’t covet from this brand. Their detox oil is an absolute must anymore for me and I’m happy to say their sorbet moisturizer works wonders in the day or night.
So if you have been on the fence of trying out this brand this is the time of the year as my favorite collections are back and offer lots of trial sizes.
I went back and forth with sharing gift guides this year. With my year of less I was worried that it would be confusing for me kindly saying ‘no’ to extra stuff, but then to list out a bunch of buying options for you all.
Wish lists are something I’ve been practicing to help me with my year of less, as they have been helping me limit buying just to buy and have helped me become more intentional.
So let these gift guides be just that. No pressure to buy, just a little option for looking around and maybe finding a new wish list item or the very least a seasonal shopping code that makes you pull the trigger.
What skincare goodies have you been eyeing this time of the year?
