I think so often on abp I mention about all the things I do to keep my skin healthy, happy and hydrated. But I rarely talk about keeping the rest of the skin on my body happy, as well!
When Spongelle reached out and sent me their products, I think they must have known how much I was needing a good exfoliator. Their Body Buffers have calmed down my dry, irritated, winter skin and soaked it in creamy shower gel fragrances.
To be quite honest I’m a tad lazy with exfoliating in the shower. I’ve made some homemade body scrubs, but beyond that I’m pretty nonchalant with it. Which is not so smart since lately I love sleeping in super silky nighties + chunky warm sweaters and nothing highlights dry, rough skin like silk does.
These wonderful smelling Wild Flower body buffers are hands down the best body exfoliators I’ve ever used. The homemade sugar scrubs I’ve made before don’t even come close to exfoliating my skin like Spongelle’s products do. My dry skin has pretty much disappeared after a few cleanses and I’m not even worried about the fourteen washes maximum Spongelle suggested. The Wild Flowers are overflowing with decadent gels and nutrients, that trick me into thinking I’m enjoying a luxurious bath.
^^^ Finnick always hangs around when I take photos even if it’s super odd places… like the bathtub.
If you ask any one who has been around me lately I’ve been complaining of needing a pedicure. Badly. So the little pedicure scrub from Spongelle was something I was so happy to get!
I typically soak my feet in my tub (when it’s not filled with future projects and kitties) and then prep my feet for a little pedicure using the Spongelle Pedi Buffer. A buffer specifically designed to help whisk away dry rough skin on one side and another to help massage achey feet.
And to top off my pedi routine I love reach for my favorite new nail color, Eternal Optimist. It’s the perfect no-color, color that matches moody winter colors to compliments bright spring colors.
In the bitter cold Wyoming winters I can’t skip adding lotion to my typically dried out winter skin and I was so happy to randomly run across an EOS Body Lotion.
I am a big fan of EOS lip balms so I figured their lotions would equally be a favorite! I don’t know if this lotion could be the only thing I use on my skin, but the smell of the Berry Blossoms + the gorgeous shaped bottle, I’m perfectly happy with my newest purchase.
So if you are like me and suffering from very “blah” winter skin, Spongelle Body Buffers, should become your new best friend.
I’m so incredibly bummed I didn’t give these out as Christmas gifts because these are a great option for those who the luxurious feeling of a bath with the convenience of a shower. I’m so impressed with how decadent Spongelle’s Buffer smell + their effectiveness.
