Here we celebrate the beauty of balance in everyday life! And the journey of making ourselves uncomfortable.
First off thank you so much for being here! While this is a personal blog and I only suggest items I actually use (plus love!), if you click a link I may receive compensation. This simple thing helps me keep my site ad free.

There seems to be a trend in beauty aisles anymore and whether the trend is thanks to Pantone’s colors of the year or if everyone is just a little blush colored crazy, roses have never been so popular. From rose hip facial oil to rose oil makeup setting sprays the trend seems here to stay and I wanted to share my favorite products.
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist ($15) – Pixi has always been a bit of hit or miss for me, but this little makeup setting spray has usurped my love for Mario Badescu spray.
The Pixi Setting Mist is made with rose water and green tea to help nourish the skin, while it also aides in keeping your makeup from slipping down your face. I don’t think it can compete with the holy grail makeup setting mist that is Urban Decay, but it does do a great job of keeping my skin and budget happy.
Caudalíe Rose Clay Detox Mask ($39) – Hands down my absolute favorite clay mask. I’ve tried them all (or so it seems), but this pink detox mask from Caudalie is by far my favorite. It purges my skin of gross oils and buildup, but has not once irritated it nor caused it to dry out. Plus, it’s a much more reasonable price than most detox masks.
Essie Eternal Optimist Color ($8.50) – Dusty rose colored nails are much more stunning and flattering than any nude nail color has ever been. And moody pink nails match equally moody winter colors to bright floral spring ones.
I have started wearing more and more Essie shades lately, though I always swear by their Quick-E Drying Drops as a good hardening top coat. It’s formulated with silicon to help aide in the drying time + give a pretty shine finish.
Tarte Power Pigment in Blushing Bride ($24) – Tarte can do little wrong in my eyes and their Power Pigments are no exception. They are a bolder, more nourishing lippy compared to their Matte Lip Tints. And this plum rose color, Blushing Bride, looks perfect with blush colored sweaters and bright pinks for Spring.[wc_divider style=”image” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=””]
As a blush color fanatic, I’m quite happy to see so many shelves line with rose hued products. Plus my skin seems to be loving the side affects as well.
What rose hued product can you not stop talking about?
