Simple Hair Accessories That Make the Biggest Statement

I’ve been dreaming of sharing this post for quite a while! abp was in dire need of a new hair post, but I wanted something simple-esque.  I didn’t want another braid or up-do that made many say, ‘Cute, but no can do.’  I wanted something we could all participate in no matter how clumsy our fingers are!

Plus, these simple gold accessories were just too darling to not spotlight in a post.

Triangle Clip

I’m sure this isn’t the first time you have seen these geometric hair clips. And it’s for good reason!  These are probably the prettiest, most simple thing I’ve ever worn for my hair.  And even better… they only take about two seconds to snap into your hair + pulling at your crown for a little extra ‘oomph.’

I picked out this softly twisted gold triangle clip from Asos, but I listed out some of my other favorites as well. (Heart + cat shaped ones were a close second to my triangle shape.)

MY FAVORITE NEW SWEATER

Simple Satin Ribbon

While I have to say I have a strong affinity for bows, the beauty of satin ribbons is they look just as chic tied in a simple knot as they do in a quaint bow.  Especially with sweater season right around the corner a laid back ribbon knotted in my hair gives my sweater life a quick update and doesn’t feel to fussy.

Back headband

This is probably the trendiest I’ve been in the last five years.  I swear every time a new trend comes a long I’m just not ready and feel completely uncool if I dare give it a try.  But when I saw this gorgeous leaf back headband on ASOS I knew this is a trend I could whole heartedly jump in on and one that would look good on my favorite braided hairstyle.

While my original plan was to find an elegant hair comb to place above the braid, and I still might try to find one, this gold accessory seemed perfect for upcoming holiday parties as it pairs so beautifully with sweaters.  Plus, I can wear it two ways – with or without a braid.

^^ I love this photo but I’m pretty sure I’m yelling at Finnick stop attacking Zeus…. Sigh.

I found so many cute (and affordable) hair accessories all at ASOS!

They are the perfect way to dress up day to day hair, as well as adding a special touch to holiday party hair.  So cheers to hairstyles perfect for clumsy fingers!
