I'm The writer, photographer and travel lover behind this lifestyle blog.
Here we celebrate the beauty of balance in everyday life! And the journey of making ourselves uncomfortable.
First off thank you so much for being here! While this is a personal blog and I only suggest items I actually use (plus love!), if you click a link I may receive compensation. This simple thing helps me keep my site ad free.

Like everyone else I’ve been wondering where this Summer went. I had so many plans of exploring and hiking through Montana to only find myself staring blankly at my calendar when September hit.
Luckily, September was chalk full of visitors for us, so while acting tour guides we actually got to check off a few of Summer bucketlist items. (Granted not necessarily in the Summer.) And it ended up sparking my love for exploring my own town again!
I’m someone who thrives on a schedule. I love working out the same days of the week and typically schedule out my weeks multiple weeks in advance. So I can easily get stuck in ruts and it unsurprisingly can transfer over to this space.
This year I’ve been determined to stay more creative even if it’s exploring my own town more. Rather than letting it get me down when I can’t travel I simply take a different route home everyday. At first, it might not seem like a big difference, but gradually it’s expanded my knowledge of my town more and more. Plus – has helped me find so many lesser known spots!
Ok, granted this does depend on where you live. We are lucky enough to only live a couple blocks away from a lot of downtown Bozeman and walking gives me such a different viewpoint than a car.
Seeing how I carry my camera quite a lot my purse can get heavy really quick. Luckily, Radley was kind enough to send me this leather backpack that’s as functional as it is stylish. Whether it’s a simple walk around my own neighbourhood or a day trip to another town, I’m able to go hands free.
I might like traveling and exploring new places, but I equally love staying in at my house. And with the cold weather coming in fast I get even more into a hermit. So whenever I hear about a new place I always make sure to check it out ASAP!
Even if it’s an off hour or during a happy hour (always yes to getting more for less) sometimes new places can feel like a big adventure, even if it’s only a few blocks away.
